The night

Spending the night at Bear Claw

Bear Claw Hotel is part of Bear Claw Casino & Hotel on Highway 9, so a night there means no drive home in the dark. The planner below matches your group to a room and checks the front desk hours.

The rooms and what sleeps where

Bear Claw Hotel has 35 guest rooms, and 5 of them are luxury suites. There are three room types. The Standard Queen Room has two queen beds, sleeps 4 and comes with pet-friendly options. The King Junior Suite is more spacious, with one king bed, and sleeps 2. The King Executive Suite also has one king bed, plus a jacuzzi spa tub, and sleeps 2.

Every room has Wi-Fi. Listed amenities include air conditioning, a hair dryer, a mini fridge, a coffee maker, a microwave, cable TV and an ironing board. Parking is at no charge.

Kids, pets and the room rate

Children under 12 stay at no charge when they share a room with an adult. Pets are welcome only in the designated pet-friendly queen rooms, for an extra charge. SIGA Rewards members get 10% off the regular room rate. SIGA Rewards is a membership card that works at all seven SIGA casinos.

Room rates are not published on the hotel page. Neither are check-in and check-out times. To ask about either, call the hotel at 306-577-4588 or toll free at 1-877-909-2327.

Front desk hours and late arrival

At Bear Claw Hotel, the front desk is staffed from 6 am to 9:45 pm daily. Gaming runs until midnight, and Guest Services, which doubles as the box office, closes then too. Travellers reaching Carlyle after 9:45 pm should phone the hotel at 306-577-4588 ahead of the trip to sort out late arrival. Every time listed is Central Standard Time, used in Saskatchewan year round. No holiday hours are posted, so the venue's site at bearclawcasino.ca is the place to look.

    RV and tent spots

To park an RV at Bear Claw, a guest signs in at Guest Services and shows a SIGA Rewards card. That desk is staffed from 10 am to midnight, with 7 open days each week. Nobody under 19 may stay in an RV on the lot. Bear Claw takes no RV bookings: the rule for spots is first come, first served. Six spots offer 110V electric hookups, so an RV can plug in to power.

An RV stay at Bear Claw has no maximum length. Even so, guests need to return to their campsite each evening. Tents may go up on the lot's grassy areas. Open fires are banned, and alcohol stays inside the RV only.
